Promove Evacuation & Transfer Sling & Introducing the New Bari-Kit

The Promove sling offers individuals an easy transfer system or complete evacuation option in challenging environments & where no hoists are available.  Promove is ideal for moving & handling children through to large adults.  The NEW Bari-Kit is the Bariatric solution for adults up to 63 stone.  Available in Bariatric & Super Bariatric

Promove & the Bari-Kit allow individuals to be moved without manhandling and reduces the risks to the operators

Promove

Have you ever been a situation where you need to lift & move someone and you have no hoist, whether its a confined space or its a medical emergency?  Then Promove is ideal for you.

Promove sling 2 PROMOVE BAG PROMOVE EXTENDED - Copy - Copy Promove 2

This revolutionary product is unique in it’s design and so easy to use & deploy. It is portable, lightweight & washable! Promove is easily placed around the individual and creates a secure bucket shaped seat with lifting points in four corners. Having completed the move the device readily slides from under the individual. Promove can also be used on its own for lifting or in combination with a slide sheet for sliding. The add on hoist straps also make the slings suitable for hoisting.

The Promove is for adults up to 45 stone (285kg). The person being carried feels secure & the lift is a controlled move with a minimum of 2 operatives & a maximum of eight, thus spreading the load & reducing injury to both parties.

The Bari-Kit  has a greater amount of material so is ideal for larger Bariatric patients up to 63 stone (400kg)
The Super Bariatric version has wider material.  See the product here

Environments

Currently Promove is being used by:
Fire Service
Ambulance
Police
Care of the Elderly & Disabled:
For those unpredictable emergencies where speed and flexibility are required. Toilets being a prime example!  See the clip of the Promove in Confined Spaces below
Moving the Disabled: Family & friends can transfer you from your wheelchair without injuring you or placing a strain on themselves
Airport Ground Staff: For transferring Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM’s) from the wheelchair into a narrow boarding chair & then into the aircraft seat, minimising the risk of injury to the passenger & operatives and not requiring the use of a hoist!
Schools & Colleges: Active Disabled young people can be transferred from their wheelchairs in an emergency or to be involved in activities their peers enjoy.
Sports Stadiums: For evacuation of an individual from the seating area where space is an issue, into the aisle for safe evacuation. As Promove is so easy to use the operatives are not at risk themselves from tripping or damaging themselves on the edges of evacuation chairs and can go round corners more easily!
Cinemas & Theatres  See the clip of the Promove in use in a Cinema below
Outdoors:  Where there is never a hoist around when you need one!

How to use the Promove & Bari-Kit Transfer Slings

How to use the Promove Diagram

The first diagram in the picture shows the sling as it would look behind a seated person.
Then the upper part supports the back while the lower part passes under the thighs and through to the other side.
Finally, when deployed, the sling forms a bucket shaped seat with lifting points on four corners (Diagram 3). To simplify deployment the handles are colour-coded.

After the incapacitated or disabled person has been moved, the device is easily removed from under the person. To move heavier individuals a minimum of four operatives is required.
