DS Medical are pleased to offer this fantastic product - Celox. You know that you'll always do everything you can to help a victim, but sometimes the difference is as much in the tools you're given as in the skills that you have. Make sure you have the best technology there is for controlling arterial bleeding. If you are a Paramedic, a Firefighter or working in an Emergency Room, you'll be better equipped with Celox wherever you go.

Celox for Emergency Services & First Aid

As an emergency professional you will come across many emergencies where excessive blood loss threatens the lives of those you are treating.  Celox is a revolutionary heamostatic agent that works independently of blood clotting factors. Even if blood contains Coumadin or Warfarin, or is hypothermic (cold) then it will clot with Celox. Celox gives you a reliable tool to help rapidly stabilise even the worst incidents.

Celox technology is available as a range for haemostatic agents that dependably control difficult bleeding fast.

Celox Applicator in use

Celox quickly stops all types of bleeding. It can even stop potentially lethal bleeding fast.

Celox was originally developed to assist military medics with some of the worst wounds imaginable. It’s been to Afghanistan & Iraq and helped save many lives. Celox can stop lethal femoral artery bleeding with 3 minutes compression and stop more minor bleeding in seconds. Therefore Celox is suitable for all types of trauma & Celox will help save lives on the battlefield; gain control in a serious emergency; handle a workplace or sporting incident; or rapidly stabilise a minor cut, laceration or nose bleed.

Celox is made using natural materials with a substantial history of use in contact with blood and tissue. It does not use dispersing procoagulatant minerals which are not bioabsorbable such as smectite & kaolin.

Celox Granules:                                               Celox Granules

Even when Celox is mixed with a massive excess of blood, Celox forms a gel like clot in 30 seconds. Celox only clots the blood it comes into contact with and works by bonding with red blood cells and producing a sticky pseudo clot by gelling with fluids. This clot sticks well to moist tissue to plug the bleeding site.
